UQ Professor Talks Study and Life at UQ

To help students explore what studying abroad at The University of Queensland (UQ) is really like, the College of Finance hosted an event titled “Study Smart, Live Well: Discover UQ with the Professor” on November 4. The session featured Dr. Ann C. Wallin from UQ Business School and attracted many students interested in studying at UQ.

Dr. Wallin is currently a visiting lecturer at the International School of Technology and Management. The College of Finance specially arranged this session to provide students with the opportunity to engage directly with an international professor and gain first-hand insights into academic life and student experiences at UQ.

During the event, Dr. Wallin shared information about UQ’s curriculum design, teaching style, campus resources, and the lifestyle in Brisbane. She also responded to students’ questions.

This event not only offered students a valuable opportunity to speak directly with an international professor, but also provided useful information and encouragement for those planning to pursue a dual degree at UQ. The College of Finance will continue to organize similar events to help students broaden their global perspective and plan a more competitive academic and career path.
