Take FCU Master of Finance student as an example, if he chooses to complete the following four courses in FCU Master

• FINA5501 Financial Institutions Management (UQ ECON7200 Economics of Financial Markets (core))
• FINA6033 International Financial Management (UQ FINM7406 International Financial Management (core))
• ECON6031 Econometrics (1) (UQ ECON7310 Elements of Econometrics (core))
• FINA6073 Corporate Finance (UQ FINM7402 Corporate Finance (elective))
and transfers his credit into our 1.5-year MIntEcon&F program, he has already done three MIntEcon&F Core Course and one MIntEcon&F program elective in FCU, all he needs to study at UQ after credit transfer would be the remaining 8 courses, 7 from the remaining Core Courses and 1 course either from the MIntEcon&F program elective list or from other program.
He doesn’t have the flexibility to choose the Core required courses but he can choose what to study in the program elective or other general elective course for the remaining one course.
