1+1 UQ Master of International Economics and Finance between UQ School of Economics and FCU Master of Finance students

The following Feng Chia University (FCU) courses are recommended for the maximum credit (8 units) towards the 1.5 year UQ Master of International Economics and Finance program.

Exemption from MIntEcon&F core course FINM7401 Finance may be granted on the basis of an applicant’s Bachelor degree program if finance major undertaken. Exemption applications considered on a case-by-case basis.

*FCU students are permitted to complete FINA6030 Financial Management (from the MRMI program) together with FINA6073 Corporate Finance (from the MF program) and receive Credit for both FINM7401 Finance (core) and FINM7402 Corporate Finance (elective).

Notes:

  1. This assessment was undertaken between September-November 2023 and will be due for renewal in 3 years’ time according to UQ credit policies.
  2. FCU students who have completed courses in excess of the maximum 8 units Credit to be granted, are not permitted to complete the UQ course equivalent mentioned above and would then need to replace with an appropriate alternate program elective course.
  3. The above 1+1 articulation is correct at the time of printing but may be subject to change and should be used as a guideline.
  4. Students are required to seek assistance from an advisor within the UQ School of Economics upon their arrival at UQ to finalize their study plan. Email: econ.pgrad@uq.edu.au
